Each of E+ Flex motors are built to the same high quality and performance standards that we adhere to for all of our products. These motors allow your bike to accelerate smoothly, quickly and silently.

• Installed with a 7-speed cassette (13-30), axle, quick release skewer, and torque bar

• Available in 750W (20mph) and 1000W (30mph) versions

• Gearless, brushless, permanent magnet motor for smooth, completely silent operation, activated with an on-demand thumb throttle

• High torque and power for steep hill climbing ability, amazing acceleration, and high top speeds

• All control electronics are located inside the motor, to protect them from damage and to reduce the number of connecting wires on the bike

• Built in thermal protection and over current protection, for years of reliable performance

• Dual wall sealed bearings and cable grommets to protect against water, dirt, sand, etc.

Hub Battery

Each E+ Flex Battery Pack is powerful, reliable and safe. The unique in-wheel location of the battery results in a bike with low center of gravity that is agile and extremely easy to maneuver.  In this design, the batteries DO NOT rotate, the housing/wheel simply spin around them.

• Installed with an axle, quick release skewer, and cable protection cover for safe and easy removal of the front wheel

• 36 Volt, 10 Amp-hour, Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) Battery, 500 charge cycles (~80% of original capacity remaining), 4-6 hour recharge time

• Advanced Battery Management Systems (BMS)
     - Thermal protection
     - Short circuit protection
     - Automatic low voltage shut down
     - Battery usage data storage

E+ LCD Display

The E+ Flex Kit's LCD Display Unit is the most advanced electric bike interface on the market today. While it is packed full of features, its still easy to use: simply turn the system on, press the throttle, and off you go! You will quickly learn to appreciate all the information that is at your fingertips, from the speedometer, odometer, and battery state of charge to the cruise control and security lock.  Try our online simulation to see it first hand!

• The LCD Indicates the Following Items:
  - Speed (in mph or km/h)
  - Battery State of Charge (SOC)
  - Cruise Control
  - Regenerative Braking

  - +1 to +9 (motor provides power)
  - 0 (Neutral)
  - -1 to -9 (motor provides resistance to your pedaling while charging the battery at the same time!)

  - ODO: Vehicle Odometer
  - DST: Trip distance
  - MXS: Max speed during trip
  - AVS: Average speed during trip
  - TIM: Trip timer
  - SOC: Battery State of Charge (5% increments)

• The LCD Display unit is also removable to prevent tampering while you are away

Smart Battery Charger

The E+ Flex Kit smart charger uses a powerful platform with a proprietary control board and advanced charging algorithm.  The charger uses 3-stage charging to maximize the capacity of the battery during each charge and the number of cycle the battery will provide over its lifetime.

Charge stages:

1.  Fast charge

2.  Balance charge

3.  Trickle charge

The smart charger is designed to have the battery connected indefinitely without risk of overcharging.

Brakes and Thumb Throttle

The brake levers have switches that initiate regenerative braking by the motor, in turn charging the battery.  They are also used to disable the motor during Cruiser Control.

The thumb throttle is mounted on the handlebar of your bike and operates just like the accelerator pedal on a car, the more you press, the more power you get!

and Data Cables

All cabling used in the E+ Flex Kit is water resistant and was designed using automotive grade connectors and cables.  The power cables clearly identify the positive leads and the data cables are color coded for easy installation.

Neoprene

Cable Wraps

Neoprene wraps are provided with the E+ Flex Kit to hold cables tightly against the front fork and along the rear dropout keeping them clear of dust, debris, branches, etc.
