EVT 168 state inspection - 2007/09/05 16:17
I was recently issued a traffic citation for not having an inspection sticker on my EVT 168. I was assured upon purchase of this bike at Alien that it did not require an inspection, but when I got the bike registered, they classed it as a moped, which DOES require inspection.
I've contested the ticket, but I can't find anything that definitively states one way or the other that the EVT 168 requires moped inspection.
Any other EVT owners out there running into this problem? Can you point me to some documentation regarding the necessity (or lack thereof) of inspection for this vehicle? I'm deeply frustrated by my experience, and I would love some help. Thanks!
