Good Question, If you are riding an ego vehicle or any scooter smaller, then no license needed--these are all classified as electric bikes. However, if you are riding one of the various 5HP electric mopeds, like our EVT's then you need a regular drivers license, no special motorcycle class required unless you have no other license or you are younger than 16yrs. For the Vectrix electric motorcycle, you DO need to have the Motorcycle endorsement on your drivers license. The Vectrix is the only electric product that requires the motorcycle class license.
