I am interested in adding power assist to a Townie bike. Have any of you ever done this? Would the Wilderness kit fit?

I do not have the bike yet, but it would probably be the men's Townie 8. Does Alien have any Townie bikes?
I now have a Montague folder with Currie power assist drive which has become too heavy and awkward for me. My wife has a Townie and I feel much safer and comfortable riding it. I would like to sell or trade the Montague bike.
