Electric scooters are primarily dryland cruisers, not wave riders! so be cautious driving through water or mud, or even on wet grass since water can cause failure of the electrical components! Wipe down moist surfaces (including the underside) of your Electric scooter to prevent rusting or electrical shorts after each ride.
